Hi all and may I take this opportunity to wish you a very Happy and Prosperous 2011. Well, where do I start, as far as any outdoor sport goes it was a complete white out from mid December. A lot of sports fell foul to the extreme weather we experienced and this in turn caused difficulty for clubs in relation to income. Every golf club in particular has felt the pinch because if the course is closed they don't have the foot fall resulting in no money passing through. As I am writing this it seems that the extreme weather has disappeared for the time being so it is important we get to the golf clubs and support them in this difficult time. On a lighter note I am off to South Africa on 25Th January with work. I have been appointed manager of our www.golfholidaysinsouthafrica.com product and there are a number of great resorts I am looking forward to visiting. One resort in particular has got me very excited, The Legends Golf and Safari Resort - www.legendsgolfsafari.com. We will playing the course there and we will also be playing their world famous 'Extreme 19th Hole'(see image above) which is not for the faint hearted I am led to believe. I will let you all know how I got on when I return.
