Thailand

Hi everyone, just a quick update from me.

Mark and Stuart from our office flew out to Thailand in Saturday past for a 7 night whirlwind trip!

They will be playing at least 18 holes everyday and visiting some excellent properties that we feature!

I will update you all on their return and expect some excellent offers for Thailand in the coming weeks.

Springing into Spring with Chaka Travels New Brochure

Hi all, Well, we are finally starting to see longer lighter evenings and of course wakening up to bright crisp mornings always puts a smile on my face! Chaka Travel have been very busy over the Winter designing our first ever golf brochure in which we feature our top destinations. This allows our customers to see exactly the places we have visited and of course recommend. A wee Friday Funny for you ........... An old favourite . . . about the Golfer who has been slicing off the tee at every hole . . ... He finally gives up and asks his long suffering caddy . . . Golfer: "Can you see any obvious problems . .. .. ?" Caddie: "There's a piece of **** on the end of your club." The Golfer picks up his club and cleans the club face . . . Caddy: "No sir, it’s at the other end"

End of a Great Trip

Well, Mark and I have arrived back into a very cold UK after 7 amazing nights in Cancun and the Riviera Maya!

In fact it's 31c colder in the UK, 28 to -3 in 10 hours!

We ended our trip with a 2 night stay in Dreams Riviera Cancun Hotel, an excellent family hotel which would be ideal for weddings where children can be catered for.

We also visited Secrets Silversands, Secrets Maroma and Now Sapphire.

Both Silversands and Maroma are truly outstanding adult only hotels which ooze luxury but at the same time offer all guests a very warm welcoming feel.

Now Sapphire is another great option for families looking excellent kids facilities or again an excellent destination for a family wedding.

All in all Cancun and the Riviera Maya have some superb hotels which can cater for all types of clients and budgets.

I would be very happy to discuss and answer any questions you may have.

Moon Palace to Dreams Riviera Cancun

Well, Mark and I checked out of the Moon Palace Hotel this morning after spending 3 nights there.

We played all 27 holes, on the excellent Moon Palace course. The course is made up of 3 nines named, Jungle, Dunes and Lakes and each offer their own individual challenges!

Unfortunately I lost the money to the boss but I wasn't surprise after not clearing the ladies tee with one of my tee shots!

Moon Palace is a great resort, plenty to do and see and of course having the unlimited golf is a great addition to the property.

We have now checked into the Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort for our final two nights and first impressions are excellent.

I will be back with an update over the next few days.

I'm off now to sunbathe and enjoy a few ice cold Cervezas by the pool :)

Cancun Update

Well, Mark and I are checking out of the Secrets The Vine today and heading to our next hotel, Moon Place.

The Vine has been absolutely wonderful, service, staff, food, rooms have all been excellent. I would not hesitate recommending it to our clients.

Looking forward to going to the Moon Palace next and getting some golf in.

But most importantly taking the boss's money on the course ;)

Cancun Update

Good morning guys, arrived safe and sound in Cancun after an excellent flight with Virgin Atlantic!!

Currently at the first Hotel, Secrets The Vine..... All I can say is.....WOW!!!

5* luxury all the way, excellent staff, beautiful hotel and outstanding location in Cancun!

Will try and post some pics ??

Cancun Golf Trip

Just checked in for our trip to Cancun, our company owner Mark (Marais) an I are heading out to check out the very popular Cancun Golf scene and we will also be looking at some of the wonderful hotels for our honeymooners.
